Location

This is Lindens farm below.. The runway can be seen at the bottom right of the picture as a lighter coloured grass strip, extending horizontally out of the frame to the right. This is actually the farmers Microlight aircraft runway that we share.

And a map!  Ignore Google's route when you get close though, as we are only allowed to use the main road entrance to the farm. Google is stupid and it thinks that track into the back way is a road and nothing I can do will persuade it otherwise.  The entrance we use is in the photo lower down the page.

The field below - panoramic view.  Left side is the way in. The strip is L shaped. Or like a Hockey stick. To the right is where we fly. Once rolled and cut in the near future it should be flat and smooth. The black thing in the centre bottom of image is our photographer! Richard Leigh.

I asked Richard for some images.

This is what he sent. Very arty and would look good on the wall but completely useless for seeing how the site looks!!

We need pictures of the strip, the parking, the farmyard etc... I suppose I will have to do it myself as usual!
