Lindens Model Flying Club

Is a new model aircraft flying club based around Lindens Farm in NE Lincolnshire. It is situated very close to Grimsby. This new flying site is approximately seven to ten minutes drive from Bradley Cross roads. 

It is an operational Microlite grass runway belonging to Lindens Farm near Riby. This is a long but fairly narrow well maintained grass strip with parking available on hard standing on the farm area very close by.

PLEASE READ!!! NO DRIVING ON THE FIELD!  By order of the management. The farmer does not want us to wreck his runway!

This field is a bit bumpy for models and grass is coarse at the moment as its cut by a big tractor and a big industrial sized mower!  We plan to improve this by keeping it rolled and cut with our own mower over time. This will make it more model plane friendly as time goes on. We may even sprinkle some fine lawn type grass seed about!

We are currently open for new members @ £50 per year January 1st to December 31st  for flying Model Aircraft, Helicopters, Jets, Electric, Gliders and Control line. This does NOT include insurance which is compulsory and will need to be seen.
